Terms and conditions of sale

1. Introduction

The general terms and conditions of sale detailed below only govern the contractual relationship between the User (hereafter referred to as You) and the trader HitechStore (hereafter referred to as We) belonging to the company Datatech Shopping Network a limited company with a capital of 180.000 Euros, whose headquarters are situated at 64 avenue du General de Gaulle - 94160 Saint Mande (France) and registered under the number 8221117791; EU VAT number FR 60822111779.

Both parties accept these conditions unreservedly. These general conditions of sale are the only conditions that apply and replace all other conditions, except in the case of ewritten exemption. By confirming your order, you unreservedly accept these general conditions of sale. These Terms and Conditions of Sale have been designed to protect your rights as a customer and to protect our rights as a business. By accessing the Site, you agree to General Conditions and the Conditions of Use of the site www.hitechstore.eu contained therein.

2. Ordering

You can place an order on our website 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

In accordance with our commitment to the fight against fraud to payment on the internet and protect all consumers , your order may be subject to prior approval by us. This validation triggers the sending of the preparation of your order. You can follow the order status from My Account area.

3. Price

The prices indicated on the Site are in Pounds Sterling and include all taxes but do not include delivery fees. Applicable delivery costs are indicated during the product selection process and are added to the price of the products at the end of the order process.

Prices are subject to change at any time, but any such modification will have no impact on finalized orders; the prices indicated on the site are applied when you place an order.

If an obviously incorrect price appears on our website (a price that is clearly too low, for example), and for whatever reason (IT bug, human error, technical error etc.), your order will be cancelled, even if it has been initially accepted.

4. Availability

Please note that HitechStore will honour your order while stock is available. If a product becomes unavailable after your order has been confirmed, we will refund the price you paid for the product within 14 working days.

If there are certain products that are temporarily unavailable, we will send the available products and will refund the shipping fees for the rest of the order. If available, we will offer you a replacement for an unavailable product, a product of equal price and quality. If you choose to refuse this offer, we will reimburse the cost of the unavailable product

5. Payment

5.1 Methods of payment.
HitechStore offers 3 methods of payment depending on the product purchased:
1. Debit and Credit cards (Visa, American Express, Maestro or MasterCard) : your account will be debited when your order is dispatched, on the condition that we have received pre-authorization for your payment.
2. PayPal
3. Bank transfer : you have 7 days of the finalization of your order to make the payment. Beyond this time, your order will be cancelled.

5.2 Secure payment
For payments made on-line by credit card, the "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL) is used, which allows your cards information to be encrypted when on the network.

For security reasons, all orders paid by bank card are verified by HitechStore. Additional information may be requested in order to validate your purchase. Therefore, in order to prevent any delays, please provide us with any requested information as soon as possible otherwise the order will be cancelled.
We apologie for any inconvenience this may cause; however, these measures are taken to protect our clients from possible fraud associated with bank cards.

6. Delivery

6.1 Place of delivery
The products purchased on the Site will be delivered to mainland France, Corsica, DOM-TOM and european countries.
Your order will be delivered to the address you entered when you placed your order. HitechStore does not deliver to PO Box addresses.

6.2 Delivery date
If your product is indicated as "in stock" on our website when you place your order, the number of days between the order date and the date that the carrier first attempts to deliver to the given address can be calculated as follows:
1. Dispatch time (24-48 hours) = payment confirmation + order preparation + pick up by carrier
2. Delivery time of your parcel(s) depend on the carrier you have chosen. Carrier delivery times start from the moment you receive an e-mail confirming your order has been dispatched.
The delivery times listed on the site are in working days, from Monday to Friday, not including bank holidays. For example, an order received by the transporter on Tuesday with a 4 day delivery time will be delivered the following Monday.

6.3 Shipping methods
HitechStore offers several methods of delivery. For further details, please refer to our Delivery page.

6.4 Shipping fees
Shipping fees are based on the delivery method chosen by the customer and calculated on the entire order. They will be shown to the Customer at the end of his order before confirmation of the latter by him.

6.5 Reception
Upon receipt of your order, we recommend that you check the parcel’s contents before accepting delivery and if necessary, write any irregularities on the delivery voucher, not forgetting to sign it. Without prejudice and with respect to the applicable legal guarantees, we recommend that you address any reservations you may have pertaining to malfunctioning products on the date of delivery as quickly as possible by e-mail.

HitechStore does everything in its power to respect the delivery times indicated on the website. If you do not receive your package within the indicated time frame, an enquiry will be carried out with the carrier and may take several days upon receipt of your claim. During this period, no refund or re-delivery will take place.

7. Returns

7.1 General methods
We recommend you send every package back with the return form filled in and signed. The return form is available and can be filled in at My Account area.

The return can be done through the transporter of your choice. We recommend you return the merchandise via registered or monitored post and take out an insurance for the value of the products with the transporter if required. This will protect you against the loss or damage of the products.
The HitechStore headquarters or warehouses cannot accept packages. Please return your products to the address on the return form:

Please be aware that when some digital products are repaired, the workshop might need to delete some of the data on the device's memory card or hard-drive. To avoid permanently losing this data, we recommend you back them up regularly, and, if possible, before sending the product off. HitechStore cannot be held responsible for the loss of this data.

7.2 Return due to exercise of the right to retraction: "Satisfied or Reimbursed"
You have a legal retraction delay of 14 working days to cancel all or part of your order. This delay starts on the day your package is delivered, or the day the last package in your order was delivered if it contains several packages.

You must inform us within thees 14 days to be able to exercise this right to retraction.
We strongly recommend you use the Site to inform us, via your account My Account.

You have 14 working days to return the product, starting from the day you let us know of your decision to exercise your right to retraction.
You are liable for the cost of the product's return.

We remind you that the right to retraction does not apply to the following cases:
- Sealed products that (for health or hygiene reasons) that cannot be sent back as they were unsealed on delivery;
- Sealed video or audio recordings, or sealed IT software that were unsealed on delivery.

7.3 Return following the delivery of a different product than ordered
If you find the product received does not match the ordered product ( incorrect reference , color error of the product features listed on the plug missing article ... ) , you can request a refund or a replacement .If the product is no longer available, customer may return the product and get a refund. The shipping return costs will be at our expense.

8. Products warranty

Several types of warranties are available for the products sold on our website. All products sold on the HitechStore website come with a legal guarantee concerning product conformity, as outlined in the following legal clauses. The aforementioned guarantee may be used in conjunction with extended warranties.

f you sell one of the products you buy from our internet site to a third party, HitechStore will only have obligations towards their initial client, with regard to a legal guarantees or guarantees; HitechStore does not have any obligations towards the second buyer. The repair or refund of the product can only be granted to the initial client.

8.1 Legal warranty
Pursuant to the legal guarantee concerning product conformity, HitechStore commits to delivering your order in accordance with the provisions of the concluded sales agreement. HitechStore will also take responsibility for any latent defects noticed upon delivery.

In the case of a lack of conformity, you shall be entitled to have the goods brought into conformity free of charge by repair or replacement.

The legal guarantee concerning product conformity covers all latent defects discovered within 2 years from the date your product was delivered.

Whatever the problem with your product, we recommend you return it with the supplied warranty card and a returns coupon. The returns coupon may be printed from My account area.

8.2 Manufacturers’ warranties for defective products
In addition to legal guarantees, some products sold on the website come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Manufacturers’ warranties vary in terms of length and coverage depending on the product and brand.

Manufacturers’ warranties do not cover:
- replacement consumables such as batteries, light bulbs, fuses and recording or playback heads,
- improper use of the product,
- damage resulting from repairs performed by non-certified technicians,
- damage caused by external factors such as accidents, internal or external shocks, lightning, power spikes, rust and sand.

Please read the user manual supplied with your product(s) carefully for the exact terms and conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty.

Should the manufacturer not honour the terms of the warranty for any of the aforementioned reasons, HitechStore will not be held responsible.

In cases where the manufacturer’s warranty is not applicable, the manufacturer will provide the customer with an estimate repair fee. If you would like your product(s) to be returned to you by the manufacturer without any repairs being carried out, administration charges may apply. Should you choose to abandon your product altogether, no additional charges will apply.

You have 3 months to accept or reject the quote and pay the amount due. If we do not hear from you within this time, we will assume that you have rejected the quote and abandoned your product. No compensation will be issued.

Our after-sales service will only attempt to send products to customers twice. If we are unable to deliver your parcel on both occasions, (i.e. parcel refused, delivery impossible, etc.) your product will be returned to HitechStore’s logistics centre, where you’ll be able to collect it within 3 months. After this time, we will assume that you have abandoned your product, and HitechStore will reserve the right to destroy your item. No compensation will be issued.

9. Litigation and responsibility

This contract is subject to French law.
HitechStore will not be held liable for poor use and its consequences on the products purchased from our Site. Although our products have performance that is compatible with professional usage, HitechStore does not sell products for professional use.
